Ips award for the nimba chimpanzee project
At the 30th conference of the International Primatological Society (IPS) in Antananarivo, Madagascar, the Nimba Chimpanzee Project was recognised with a commendation in the IPS Ethics & Diversity, Equality, Inclusivity Awards. The four project leaders were very proud to receive this honour during the General Assembly.
The two Guinean Nimba Chimpanzee Project leaders, Henry Camara and Gnan Mamy, also proudy presented their research findings on cultural differences in chimpanzee diet in the Nimba Mountains of Guinea during the conference poster session.
The Nimba Chimpanzee Projects works in collaboration with the Institut de Recherche sur la Biodiversité aux Monts Nimba (IReB-MN) in Guinea.
